This Huang Guanyin comes from Hui Yuan Keng, one of Wuyishan's celebrated core Zhengyan valleys and one of the famous San Keng Liang Jian (三坑两涧) locations.
 
Huang Guanyin is a modern Fujian cultivar developed through controlled breeding from Huang Dan and Tieguanyin parentage. Its naturally expressive aromatic character has made it particularly interesting when adapted to Wuyi Yancha production.
 
Here, that aromatic cultivar meets the growing environment of Hui Yuan Keng and traditional Wuyi processing. It is charcoal-roasted, with a thick, mellow liquor, pronounced floral fragrance, and persistent aftertaste.
