Curious about Mahjong but not sure where to begin? Join us for a relaxed, social introduction to the game. No previous experience is required, and returning beginners are welcome to keep practicing.
Our beginner tables cover recognizing the tiles and suits, understanding the Winds and Dragons, forming Chows, Pungs, and Kongs, building a winning hand, and learning the basics of scoring. Guided play gives you time to ask questions and learn as you go.
Your evening includes beginner Mahjong instruction and guided play, an introduction to scoring, snacks, and bottomless pitchers of Gongfu-brewed tea served at the Mahjong tables. You can also enjoy the Gongfu Tea Table while not…
