Virtual Discussion with Stéphane Erler

Join us on Friday, December 18th at 8:00 pm for a Virtual Discussion with Stephane Erler, whose passion for spreading Taiwanese tea culture has been positively influencing the tea community since he began writing the TeaMasters Blog in 2004.

Together we will be discussing the history of tea’s evolution in Taiwan while brewing and tasting several varieties of selected Taiwanese teas from the TeaMasters collection.

ABOUT STEPHANE

Stephane is married to a Taiwanese with whom he has 2 children and has been living in Taiwan since 1996. 

He began studying tea with Teaparker, Chih Jung-Sien, the famous tea writer and expert, in 2003, inspiring him to found the Teamasters blog the following year. These experiences opened the path for him to begin selling high-quality teas and gongfu cha accessories worldwide via mail since  2005.

In the Spring of 2011, Stephane and Teaparker began teaching tea at the Tea Institute at Penn State University, returning in 2013, 2014, 2015, and 2017. 

In 2014, Stephane launched the http://www.tea-masters.com online boutique and later the same year published the TeaMasters Oolong Brewing Guide.
