Harvested from Spring 2019. The tea leaves for this tea cake were picked from 30 to 70 year old tea trees from Jinggu, Yunnan. Jinggu is a high altitude area that tops out at 2200 meters above sea level. The tea we used for this production is from an altitude of about 1800 meters.
Teng Tiao is a unique Assamica natural hybrid that grows in Mengku County (Lincang) and Jinggu (Puer/Simao) and has long spindly leaves. An incredible value puerh which is both worthy to drink now or for the long-term. Clean and pure! It produces a tea with a fresh flora aroma and taste with long lasting sweetness.
